HISTORY
Organization was founded 7 February 1926. as the "Association of deaf-mute for Belgrade and the environment." It has over municipal section as a unique organization in that they included the hearing impaired persons in order to better and more efficient for solving their life needs.

ORGANIZATION
Hearing impaired persons are organized in the Belgrade City organization Deaf Belgrade, which consists of local sections: Old Town, Vracar, Savski Venac, New Belgrade, Palilula, Zemun, and inter-section: Zvezdara and Grocka; Vozdovac; Mladenocvac and Sopot, Rakovica and Brajevo; Cukarica , Obrenovac and Surčin.

MEMBERSHIP
Over 4000 deafs and hard of hearing people living in Belgrade, from the 1150 people are members of the organization.

MANAGEMENT
• The Assembly has 30 members, representatives of twenty-nine, and the secretary who was employed person.
• Executive Committee made of 11 members (president, vice-president, secretary and eight members who are representatives of section).
• Professional service organizations perform professional, administrative and auxiliary treasury jobs. Secretary of the organization is also the director of professional services.
